Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Weatherization
LIHEAP Weatherization provides free energy efficiency upgrades to low-income households to lower their monthly utility bills while also improving the health and safety of the household's occupants.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Utility Assistance
LIHEAP is a federally funded program aimed at assisting low-income households that pay a high portion of their income to meet their energy needs. Under this program, individuals may receive financial aid up to $1,000 to pay electric or gas bills.
Consumer Assistance Program
The Bureau of Automotive Repair’s (BAR) Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) offers eligible consumers repair assistance and vehicle retirement options to help improve California's air quality. Individuals may receive up to $1200 for emissions-related repairs for income-eligible consumers if vehicle fails Smog Check.
Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP)
The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) promotes clean vehicle adoption in California by offering rebates from $1,000 to $7,500 for the purchase or lease of new, eligible zero-emission vehicles, including electric, plug-in hybrid electric and fuel cell vehicles. NOTE: Funds for CVRP are nearly exhausted. Applications received on or after September 6th, 2023 will be placed on a standby list and are not guaranteed a rebate.
