Programs
SoCal PICRT provides several programs that offer services, resources, and information to our community, as well as provide capacity-building training and support for our member organizations.

Pacific Pathways
Recognizing the unique cultural and health challenges faced by these communities, Pacific Pathways offers a range of programs designed to promote balanced nutrition, physical fitness, and overall well-being. Through educational workshops, community events, and personalized support, the organization empowers individuals to make healthier life choices. By advocating for a healthier lifestyle and encouraging active living, Pacific Pathway not only addresses immediate health concerns but also honors and preserves cultural heritage.
"Witnessing the positive transformations in individuals and families as they embrace better habits and a more active lifestyle is immensely rewarding. Each success story reinforces my commitment to the cause and fuels my passion for expanding our reach."

Pacific Power
Pacific Power is the environmental justice component of SoCal PICRT. This program offers environmental benefit programs, promotes climate literacy among our community members, and develops relationships with Pasifika and Environmental Justice organizations with the intent to share knowledge, resources, and opportunities for collective health and environmental safety.
"With each passing day, the urgency to mobilize, empower, and uplift our Pasifika communities around environmental justice becomes more and more important. Whether on or off island, climate change disproportionately impacts Pacific Islanders and having the opportunity to make environmental justice accessible through direct services, education and community empowerment is a step in the right direction."

Healing Tides
Healing Tides is a healing-centered leadership and capacity-building initiative for Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander leaders who are nurturing their communities while navigating systemic challenges. Funded by the St. Joseph’s Fund, this program draws on cultural wisdom and collective care to restore, realign, and strengthen both individual and organizational capacity for sustainable impact.
Pasifika Wellness
Pasifika Wellness is a program focused on supporting Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities in Southern California that focuses on mental health and wellness. We offer education through community outreach, facilitate dialogue through workshops, and provide referrals to local mental health providers. The program also seeks to collaborate with culturally competent NHPI mental health professionals.
Helping our NHPI community access mental health resources is more than just a job, it’s a commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering healing. Through outreach and education, I strive to create safe spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey to wellness.

Advocacy
Our advocacy work is dedicated to addressing the persistent disparities faced by NHPI communities, ensuring they receive equitable access to essential resources. We champion health equity by pushing for policies that improve healthcare access and outcomes, recognizing that our communities often experience higher rates of chronic illness and barriers to care. Data disaggregation is a critical component of our work, and we also advocate for mental health support and push for language access. Through our efforts, we strive to create a future where NHPI communities are seen, heard, and provided with the support they need to thrive.
“Our Pasifika communities deserve the best, and I am committed to ensuring our voices are heard, our needs are met, and our people are uplifted in every space we occupy. Change starts with advocacy—when we come together and speak up, I see it as a form of love and care for each other.”

LA County
Direct Services
Through our LA County direct services programs, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) families and community members are navigated, referred, linked, and assisted through systems and resources necessary to alleviate the stress, pain, and strain brought on by social determinants of health. Our team of Community Health Coordinators connect with community members through various community outreach and engagement activities.
