Get to Know Us
Across the nation, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) communities continue to experience disparities in health, access to resources, language services, data representation, and other systems that impact our everyday lives. The Southern California Pacific Islander Community Response Team (SoCal PICRT) works to change that by bringing together NHPI organizations, community leaders, and partners to advocate for the well-being of our communities. From health and wellness, language access, data equity, and civic engagement to immigration preparedness, community education, and policy advocacy, we connect our community with culturally relevant information, resources, and opportunities to take action. At the heart of our work is a commitment to uplifting Pacific Islander voices, strengthening our organizations, and ensuring our communities are seen, heard, represented, and supported throughout Southern California.
